Amine Benmoussa - Venture Partner Iberia (Spain/Portugal)
Amine Benmoussa has 15 years of experience in Healthcare VC investing. Prior to relocating to Europe, Amine worked as an investor with the BDC Healthcare Fund in Canada (2011-2020) where he led or co-led investments in early to mid-stage healthcare companies, and served on several boards, including those of Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, Clearwater Clinical (acquired by Sivantos), Clementia Pharmaceuticals (IPO and later acquired by IPSEN), Milestone Pharmaceuticals (IPO) and Swift Medical.
Amine holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Concordia University (Montreal 2005) and an MBA from HEC Montreal (Montreal & Singapore 2009). He has also completed executive training in Private Equity and Venture Capital at the Harvard Business School (Boston 2014), and in Corporate Governance at the Rotman School of Management (Toronto 2015).
Alain Gavin - Venture Partner (UK)
Alain Gavin has 16 years of experience in direct investment, mergers and acquisitions and consulting. He specializes in mobility, SpaceTech and Big Data. After starting his career with Siemens for ten years where he held various positions, including leading a large restructuring project with Siemens Strategic Management Consulting division, he played an investor and advisory role in corporate venture investments, mergers and acquisitions in various structures, notably at Schott AG and Seraphim Capital (2018-2020). Since July 2008 he has been Managing Partner at Psion Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in investments in advanced technologies and infrastructures in the fields of mobility, SpaceTech, DroneTech, FinTech, Big Data Enterprise software and others.
Alain Gavin is a graduate of London Business School (MBA/MSc Management 2004) and Nottingham Trent University (Electrical & Electronic Engineering 1990).
