The Company has implemented a procedure for the processing of personal data which it may collect and storeI n the course of its business , in accordance with Regulation EU / 2016/679 of April 27, 2016. Karista may update the present data protection policy at any time. We invite you to regularly consult this website to keep yourself informed of these updates. A detailed policy is available on request from the Company.

Karista may collect different types of data, including:
- identification information (surname, first name, nationality, date and place of birth, gender);
- contact details (postal address and email address, telephone number);
- family situation (eg marital status, number of dependents);
- information relating to the education, profession and professional experience and financial knowledge of the person concerned;
- data related to the subscription in the financial products managed by Karista (banking, financial and transactional data, experience in terms of subscription in capital investment products, etc.);
- data collected in the context of exchanges, on Karista website or on social networks, or even during meetings or fairs, interviews, telephone conversations, e-mails.

The personal data of persons identified by Karista relates to:
- to its collaborators, consultants, managers (past, current, future (candidates))
- to its shareholders
- to subscribers of the investment funds it manages
- managers and employees of companies financed by its funds

Karista uses personal data for the purposes of:
- complying with its legal or regulatory obligations;
- contracting or contacting a client, at its request, to conclude a contract;
- communicating periodically on its news or those of the companies in portfolio;
- inviting to events organized by Karista.
Personal data is used only by Karista and will not be sold or passed on to third parties. They could however be the subject of a communication in certain cases, namely:
- to judicial or financial authorities, public entities, at their request and within the limits of what is authorized by the regulations;
- to a service provider performing services on behalf of Karista (custodians, auditors, etc.).

Karista keeps personal data:
- as long as necessary for the achievement of the purposes for which they were collected and processed;
- for the duration necessary to comply with the applicable regulations and in particular the applicable limitation periods;
- for a period defined with regard to its operational constraints (duration of the funds, customer relationship management, etc.);
- to respond to legal claims or requests from authorities and regulators.
Karista keeps a register in which the retention periods by treatment are detailed.

—Cookies
Users are informed that when accessing the Site, information will be temporarily stored on their hard drive for 13 months to allow tracking of the User’s navigation on the Site. Users acknowledge that they have been informed of this practice and authorize the Company to use it.

In any event,  Users are informed that their browsers have functionalities that allow them to oppose the placement of cookies, to be warned before accepting cookies or to delete them.

—Policy for handling customer complaints
In accordance with article 26 of Delegated Regulation n ° 2017/565 and AMF instruction 2012-07, the Company has implemented a complaints policy available free of charge upon request to the Company.

Any complaint must be addressed to the Company, by mail to the head office or by email to: reclamations @ karista.vc

An acknowledgment of receipt will be sent within 10 days of receipt of the complaint, and a response will be provided within 2 months except in exceptional circumstances that the Company will justify.

— Conflict of interest policy
The Company has established and maintains a conflict of interest management policy to detect and manage situations that give rise  or are likely to give rise to a conflict of interest in itsbusiness. The policy is based on a mapping of risks of potential conflicts of interest. The system put in place imposes, among other things, the obligation for each employee to inform the RCCI and the Management Board of any conflict of interest situation he or she may have detected. These situations and their treatment are recorded in a register used toupdate the mapping.

The rights attached to the securities held in the portfolio are exercised in the interest of the investors, in compliance with the law and regulations. The voting policy is available on request from the Company.
